Payment Data

Application & Device Data

When you use the A.T. Institute mobile app, we may collect:

• Mobile Device Access: Camera access (for profile photo uploads). You can manage permissions in your device settings.
• Push Notifications: We request permission to send notifications for live classes, exams, and announcements. You can opt out via your device settings.
• Usage Data: Live class attendance, exam submissions, material downloads, and in-app activity — used for platform operation and support.
• Technical Data: Device type, OS version, app version, IP address, and crash logs for troubleshooting.

All information you provide must be accurate and complete. Please notify us of any changes.

2. How Do We Process Your Information?

We process your personal information to:

• Facilitate account creation and authentication — so you can log in and manage your account.
• Deliver course features — scheduling live classes, conducting exams, delivering study materials, and processing payments.
• Enable user-to-user communication — the in-app chat between students and teachers.
• Send notifications — alerts for upcoming classes, new exams, uploaded materials, and notices.
• Provide support — responding to technical queries and resolving issues.
• Improve the platform — aggregated, anonymised usage data helps us improve the experience.

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Information?

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes. Ever.

4. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, or as required by law (such as tax or accounting requirements). When you close your account, we delete or anonymise your data within 90 days, except where retention is legally required.

Exam submissions and results may be retained for longer periods for academic record-keeping purposes.

5. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures including:

• TLS encryption for all data in transit between the app and our servers
• Encrypted storage in our databases
• Access control — production data is restricted to authorised engineers
• Regular security reviews and incident response procedures

However, no electronic transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You should only access our services within a secure environment.

6. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

Access & Correction

You can view and update your profile information directly from the app's account settings at any time.

Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at vidhyarthy01@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw consent to data processing at any time by contacting us. Note this will not affect processing that already occurred before withdrawal.

Data Portability

You may request an export of your data — including exam results and payment history — by contacting our support team.

7. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

Most browsers and mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for implementing DNT signals has been finalised. We do not currently respond to DNT signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will update this notice accordingly.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting a notice in the app or sending a notification. We encourage you to review this notice periodically.
